FAQs

How long does it take for my order to be created and shipped?

Orders are made in the order they are received. Typically it will take 1-3 weeks to sew and ship the item out. I will be in contact if there is a long delay.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately at this point in time, I do not ship internationally from my website. However, if you would like an international order, please place an order through Etsy (my shop name is Langley Threads).

What is the return policy?

If for any reason you are unhappy with how an item turned out or how it fits, please email me directly at langleythreads@gmail.com and I will ensure we figure out a solution. I’m happy to accept returns as long as the items are in original conditions (unwashed and tags attached) within 30 days of the ship date. Thank you for understanding!

Do you do repairs/alterations on LT pieces?

Absolutely! I want this piece you buy to last you forever and I understand that although I try my best to create patterns that fit everyone, it is unlikely that that will be the case. If you are located in the Central Valley area, I offer free alterations on Langley Threads pieces.

If located outside of the Central Valley, please email me at langleythreads@gmail.com and we will discuss a solution. Thank you!

What is the production process for an LT piece?

All of the fabric that I order is either through Fabrics store (for all the linen fabric) or through SwatchOn (South Korea).

I personally wash and iron all of fabric and then cut out and sew all the pieces from my storefront/studio.

I enjoy knowing that my supply chain for a LT piece is much shorter than the normal fashion industry. Normally we are so removed from the clothing process that we don’t know what all it takes to create a piece and how bad the working conditions can be. I want to show the behind the scene process.
