In 2021 I dreamt of creating clothes for people who dress themselves for the benefit of others. What started out as quiet hobby, blossomed into a full-time small clothing business.
I learned a lot about living simply and slowly through my relationship with Jesus. Practicing what it meant to be a good steward of the world meant learning how to treat others well and understanding that sometimes my money was going towards harming both of those things; the world and humans. I also learned that, although my clothing spending habits seemed innocent, I was actually supporting slavery, poverty, pollution, etc. This started an entire journey of how to live differently. Langley Threads was created in October 2021, and now has a storefront in Exeter, CA. I offer clothing, accessories and small housewares that I hope will last you a lifetime.
