Learn to Sew
Sewing is such a great skill that is rarely taught anymore and with just a few lessons, you can be on your way to repairing clothes, making projects, and bringing back to life a forgotten skill. Join for a private lesson to choose a project you’d like to work on. Private lesson are offered in our studio in Visalia, CA!

There are 3 sewing instructors to chose from:
Hannah Rice- Hannah is the owner of Langley Threads and loves teaching sewing lessons of all ages. She can help you with projects ranging from basics such as pillowcases to more advanced garment projects and custom makes.
Chelsi Stark- Chelsi likes learning new techniques and tricks with sewing and is passionate about making Halloween costumes. Chelsi has made several successful projects from scratch and would love to help you bring your vision to life!
Becca Brouwer- Becca enjoys sewing because it adds color and whimsy to everyday experiences. She loves helping students make projects such as plushies and simple clothing projects. If you are new to sewing, Becca is a great instructor to book with!
Charter School Policies/Information:
-Funding must be submitted before booking an appointment/class.
-Funding must be used in the school year it is submitted. It does not roll over to the following year.
-If you have submitted funds for a private lesson, but would rather switch to a class, I will allow this change, just please contact me prior at langleythreads@gmail.com
-Funding is accepted to be used over the summer.
-Fabric cost for garments is not included in the cost of the lesson or covered from the charter school. I do have a small stash of fabrics to use but any large amount of fabric required for a project must be purchased and brought to the lesson.
